The Capital City Partnership (CCP) is a key strategic partnership within Edinburgh's Community Planning Framework, leading on the delivery of the regeneration targets of the city's Single Outcome Agreement. It brings together key statutory, voluntary, community and private sector organisations to promote change and joint working for community regeneration. Drawing on the expertise of the staff team and its partners, CCP identifies the key issues for the city and encourages organisations to change and develop a culture of working together. By gathering evidence of the issues to be addressed and promoting solutions based on what we know to be effective we lead positive and sustainable change, from development through to implementation of services in a range of settings.

Getting people back into work is one of our main priorities and CCP has developed the Joined Up For Jobs strategy which aims to assist unemployed people who need work to get a job and sustain long-term employment, while helping employers find the workers and skills they need.

Recognising that some individuals, families and communities in Edinburgh face many barriers in achieving their potential, the CCP is developing an Early Intervention approach to ensure that those at risk of failing to flourish have access to the services they need, when they need them. An Early Intervention Task Group has been established to champion this way of working to build the capacity of these families to secure the best outcomes for themselves.
